Optimization Options

The Optimization Options section will help you optimize the loading speed, when the website is very visited or when you want to reach fast load. The loading optimization refers only for the Easy Social Share Buttons way of work.

Load plugin javascript files asynchronous – activating this option will set scripts to be loaded with the other page content at the same time without blocking load

Load plugin javascript files deferred –  activating this option will set scripts to be loaded after the other page content is displayed on the screen. This option will make your text content display first and after that to be loaded the other elements of the page – images, scripts and etc. This will prevent blocking load time while the user have to wait to see anything on the screen. It’s recommended for high loaded websites

Remove version number from script and css files – activating this option will make possible your client’s browsers cache the content of your site. This will ensure fast load when visit the site again

BUILD-IN CACHE

Activate cache – tick off this option to activate the ESSB build in cache. If you use any other cache plugin do not activate this, you won’t get any extra result

Cache mode – choose one of the modes depending on your site’s load:

  • Cache button render and dynamic resources – recommended for high loaded sites. This option will cache the render of the buttons and will make the dynamic resources of the plugin to be treated as non-dynamic, which will make the buttons to be loaded faster
  • Cache only dynamic resources – recommended for medium loaded sites. This option will make only the dynamic resources of the plugin to be treated as non-dynamic, which will make the buttons to be loaded faster

Combine into single file all plugin static CSS files – combine all plugin’s CSS files and execute them with a single call to CSS
